(Deerfield, MA) Deerfield Police Sergeant Harry Ruddock is saying goodbye to full-time policing. After 33 years of service, including the Superintendent’s Unit Citation Award, and the Stavros Paul Winske Access Award. Ruddock is moving to retirement and will focus on his home projects and will enjoy more time mountain biking, fishing, and hiking. Ruddock helped build a crime lab at the Deerfield Police Department during his years of service. Ruddock will be a part-time member of the department for a few more years.

“We at the Deerfield Police are so honored to have worked beside and learned from Sergeant Ruddock as he has also been a roll model of professionalism, integrity, and compassion in policing,” said the department in a recent social media post.
