(Leverett, MA) Chief John Ingram followed up on the direction of the fire and whether any homes or structures are at risk at this time. There is a lot of smoke on Rt. 63, due to the rain helping to extinguish the fire. Right now the fire is on the east side of Joshua Hill, where most of the crews are. Ingram said there is no risk to any structures or homes at this time. Right now, the fire is at the top of the mountain in the dead terrain. Ingram said if there were any concerns that any structures or homes at risk information would be provided immediately.
