Easthampton Follows Greenfield With Water-Sewer Rate Increase

(Easthampton, MA) — It’s going to cost a little more for water and sewer service in Easthampton. The city’s Board of Public Works has voted to raise the water and sewer rates by eight percent for the fiscal year which begins Wednesday. That will translate into an increase of just under $50 dollars on the average ratepayer’s bill. Greenfield approved a similar increase earlier this year.
