(Northampton, MA) — A 48-year-old Northampton man is dead after falling from the city’s parking garage. The Northwestern DA’s office says Northampton Police responded Saturday to the alleyway between Thornes Marketplace and the E. John Gare garage Saturday after a report that someone had fallen from an upper level of the garage. There they found the man on the sidewalk, suffering from significant trauma. He was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Foul play is not suspected, but the incident remains under investigation by Northampton and State Police.
