Columbia Gas To Leave Massachusetts By Fall

(undated) — Columbia Gas will no longer do business in Massachusetts. Attorney General Maura Healey has announced an agreement which will see Columbia pay a $56 million dollar fine and sell its holdings to Eversource by the fall. The settlement grew out of a 2018 natural gas accident which damaged several homes in Merrimack Valley.
