(Athol, MA) The Athol Board of Health has announced two new COVID-19 cases, giving the town two active cases and 67 recoveries.
“More places are opening up with specific guidelines to minimize the risk of transmission,” said the Athol Board of Health in a recent social media post.
Social distancing measures and face masks should still be observed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“Although the state is not in a surge and we have flattened the curve, he virus is still out there,” the social media post reads.
There are mental health resources available for anyone struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. To access those resources, call 2-1-1.
“Be patient and kind to yourself and one another. Limit your exposure to the news and use reliable sources for information,” said the Board.
