(Northampton, MA) — After a relatively quiet period, the rate of positive COVID 19 tests in the Pioneer Valley are beginning to tick upward. That’s the case at Northampton’s Cooley Dickinson Hospital, which reports that the number of positive COVID tests have doubled recently from point-7 to 1-point-9 percent. Not all those who have tested positive for the virus are symptomatic, according to hospital officials. The increases coincide with similar results being reported in other parts of Massachusetts.
