(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Police Department is issuing a warning about reports of scam calls from suspects trying to get social security numbers. The departments wants potential victims to know that the Social Security Administration does not typically call recipients to get a social security number and will not threaten to suspend benefits if payment is not made.
