(GREENFIELD) — The Greenfield Public Schools are finalizing plans for remote learning to start the new school year in two weeks. Superintendent of Schools Jordana Harper told the school committee that preparations are going well.
“There is a lot of learning that has to occur around this, and the professional development period is being very well utilized by our principals, and our tech staff, and our teachers to put together the best collaboration and plans to support our students”, said Harper.
Harper said this is a unique challenge for the schools because it is an entirely different way of teaching, not just a minor variation.
Greenfield Public Schools open on September 17 for grades 1 through 12, and the following week for kindergarten and Pre-K.
