Bear Hunting In Massachusetts Starts Today

(Franklin County, MA) Today marks the first day of bear hunting season in 2020. The Massachusetts Environmental Police are issuing a reminder to hikers to wear “hunter orange” while hiking during hunting season. For a list of dates and hunting regulations click here. In Massachusetts, bear baiting and the use of dogs to hunt bears is illegal.
