(North Adams, MA) The operator of a paving roller that rolled over on Notch Road is recovering at Baptist Medical Center after the Jaws of Life were used to extract him from the accident. Around 11:30am emergency crews responded after a Highway Department Foreman discovered the accident and radioed directing to North Adams Dispatch. The paving roller was reportedly driving West on Notch Road when it slid off the pavement, causing the machine to roll over and trap the driver.
