(Northampton, MA) On Friday, September 19, Northampton Police Department responded to the Veterans’ Park at 90 West Street for reports of shots fired. After an extensive search including Massachusetts State Police and Easthampton Police, a 37 year old male was arrested. An investigation determined that the 37 year old male was in a verbal altercation with another male individual which escalated into shots being fired. No injuries were reported from the incident and no further information is available.
