(National) The country is in mourning today after the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was announced over the weekend. Ginsburg was appointed to the United States Supreme Court under former President Bill Clinton in 1993. She graduated from Columbia Law School in 1959. Ginsburg completed two years of law school at Harvard, and was awarded an honorary degree in 2011. Ginsburg was best known for her dissenting opinion in Bush v. Gore and her landmark opinion in U.S. v Virginia,  where the Supreme Court ruled that a traditionally all male military academy must admit women to the institution.
