(Athol, MA) Trick-or-treating in Athol will move forward this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 safety guidelines will be in place, including wearing a face mask and social distancing. Halloween will take place in Athol from 5pm-8pm. Anyone who does not feel well, has been exposed to COVID-19, has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or who has traveled from a high-risk state according to Governor Baker’s travel order should stay home. The “light on light off” rule should be observed in a strict manner and anyone trick-or-treating should not go to a house that does not have the porch light on.
