(Franklin County, MA) Many Franklin County towns and communities are still without power this morning. Rural areas like Conway, which still shows 88% of the customers still without power, and Leyden with 100% of customers still without power, are still waiting. Meanwhile power in Charlemont and Erving has been completely restored. Eversource said crews from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Canada, and New Hampshire have been recruited to help restore power to Massachusetts customers. Eversource officials say power will be restored in all areas by noon Saturday at the latest, with most locations back up and running sooner than that. Barnes Air Force Base in Westfield reported winds of up to 74mph during last night’s storm. A complete and updated outage map can be found here.
