(Combined Sources) An opening on the Charlemont Selectboard will be filled after a special election on Saturday November 14th at the HawlemontRegional School. Jay Healy, who served on the selectboard since late 2018 has announced his resignation this summer. Healy cited that owning a business in town and serving on the board could be seen as a conflict of interest. Those interested in running for the seat should contact the Charlemont Town Clerk Kathy Reynolds.
