(Greenfield, MA) A Turners Falls man faces several charges, including motor vehicle homicide, following the October 4 car crash on Route 2 that killed 41 year old Jonathan Rohrs of Acton and his dog. George Cortina, age 62 of Turners Falls, will be arraigned on October 26 in Greenfield District Court in connection with crash on charges of motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence, two counts of operating under the influence of drugs and causing serious bodily injury, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a class A controlled substance, and marked lanes violations. Cortina and his passenger survived the crash and were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
