(Combined Sources) Yesterday, the Orange Board of Health announced that earlier this month a Mahar Regional School field hockey player tested positive for Covid-19. The positive test led to a 14 dayquarantine placed on 23 people from Orange and other area towns. The last Mahar Field Hockey match was October 15th vs Greenfield High School. The match was held at Mahar. The team is now on a two week hold for practices and matches. The Mahar Superintendent made a statement earlier this week that the player is a remote student and had not entered the school this year.
