Justice Kimberly Budd Nominated As Next Chief Justice Of The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court

(Boston, MA) Governor Charlie Baker has nominated Justice Kimberly Budd as the next Chief Justice on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Justice Budd has served on the Supreme Judicial Court since 2009. Budd remarked that she is mindful that this opportunity is bitter sweet with the passing of Chief Justice Ralph Gants. There are still two appointments to be made to the court.
