(Massachusetts) Concerns are growing as Massachusetts seems to be in the dreaded second wave of COVID-19. Yesterday, Governor Charlie Baker pleaded with residents to please consider COVID-19 safety protocols moving forward and discussed data pointing to young adults as the primary group experiencing the second wave. He did note that older, higher risk individuals were still at a moderate level for COVID-19 infections. This new wave comes as Massachusetts is pushing elementary and secondary schools to use in-person learning rather than complete remote learning. Baker said the data shows that in-person instruction does not contribute to the spread of COVID-19. Connecticut has put new travel restrictions in place for Massachusetts residents traveling to the state for more than 24 hours.
