(Combined Sources) Downtown Northampton was filled with hundreds of protesters yesterday, drawing a response from the Northampton and Easthampton Police Departments as well as the Massachusetts State Police. Supporters of President Donald Trump and Black Lives Matter supporters lined the area and median at the corner of Main and Pleasant streets. Police dress in riot gear ended up dispersing both groups. There were no reports of arrests or injuries although ambulances were at the scene.
