(Combined Sources) Representative Susannah Whipps announced her victory yesterday for reelection to the 2nd District of Franklin County after Tuesday’s election. Whipps, an independent, gathered 65 percent of the vote in towns from Gill stretching to Phillipstonand south to Belchertown. She has served the district since 2015. Her challenger, Will LaRose, an Athol resident, called her to conceded late Tuesday night.
