(Northampton, MA) A pedestrian was hit by a car near the Hotel Northampton on Friday morning, according to Northampton Police Department. The accident occurred at approximately 11am. The 42 year old Florence resident was struck while crossing a cross walk. The victim was transported to Baystate Medical. The accident is still under investigation and no further details are available.
