(Boston, MA)  COVID-19 cases are on the rise in the Commonwealth, and the risk of exposure is also heightened. On Wednesday, new quarantine guidance were released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and went into effect. The guidance shortens the quarantine time to ten days as long as there are no COVID-19 symptoms, a negative test on day eight of the quarantine or later has been administered, and continued monitoring of symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms develop, another COVID-19 test should be administered.
