(Boston, MA) Governor Charlie Baker announced his plan today for the COVID-19 vaccine roll out, estimated to begin by the end of the year. Baker’s three phased vaccine roll out plan places emergency personnel like health care workers, police, fire, and emergency services workers into the first round of vaccine administration. The second phase of vaccine administration is estimated to begin in February 2021, and includes individuals who are high risk for COVID-19 complications, education workers, public works employees, grocery workers, transit workers, utility workers, workers in food and agriculture, and sanitation workers. Adults over the age of 65 and anyone with a comorbid condition is also part of the second phase. The last phase of the vaccine administration is estimated to begin April 2021, and includes the rest of the general public. For more information click here.
