(Buckland, MA) The Mohawk Trail School Committee has approved a hybrid learning model that will begin on January 11th. The hybrid model and start date were presented at the committee meeting on Wednesday night. The district will need to fill open positions in the district and leaves of absences from teachers and staff before the start date. Eight teachers and four paraprofessionals have requested leaves of absence. The hybrid learning model also allows the district to assess a potential holiday surge of COVID-19.
