ATHOL- Randy S. Wagner, 48, of Mechanic Street, died on December 8, 2020. He had suffered with a genetic disease for years.                                                                                                                                                         Randy was born on September 22, 1972 in Greenfield and was the son of the late Nathaniel and Phyllis (Darrow) Wagner and grew up in Orange, graduating from Franklin County Technical School with the               class of 1990.

Randy had worked as a park ranger at Laurel Lake in Erving.

For over 20 years, Randy was the life partner of Albert Hebert and they enjoyed traveling to the casino, traveling in general, especially to Maine, and Randy was an accomplished painter and had done many canvases for family and friends.

A very caring person, Randy had taken care of numerous people over the years including his parents.

Randy will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Randy is survived by his life partner, Albert Hebert of Athol; his siblings, Tracy Gaudet of Orange, Natalie Rawinski of Orange, Wayne Wagner, of Bernardston, Bruce Burritt Sr. of Orange, Leslie Lewis of South Carolina, and David Wagner of Nova Scotia.

Randy also leaves nephews and nieces, Danielle Wagner, Adam Wagner, Andrew Wagner, Chelsea Alvarez, Alyssa Gaudet, Bruce Burritt Jr. and Ryan Wagner.

Besides his parents, Randy was predeceased by sisters, Gail Burritt and Lisa Wagner, and a niece, Emily Dionne.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
