(Greenfield, MA) — There will be no “in person” learning in the Greenfield Public Schools until January 11th at the earliest. That’s the decision of the Greenfield School Committee, which Thursday night voted to halt in-person instruction until mid-January in an effort to contain the spread of the COVID 19 virus. Committee members also said any return to in-person learning would likely depend on the progression of the spread of the virus post-Christmas. Only a small percentage of Greenfield students are currently involved with in-person instruction, mostly in special education programs.
