(Athol, MA) Main Street in Athol was closed in both directions yesterday afternoon after a multi-vehicle accident which involved a pedestrian occurred in front off S&S Appliance. One person was transported to UMASS Memorial via Lifeflight and another was taken to Athol Memorial Hospital. Their conditions were not released as of last night.  The Athol Building Inspector was at the scene to check on the storefront.
