(Northfield, MA) The Northfield Fire Department assisted with a large structural fire in Winchester New Hampshire at around 2:30am Wednesday morning when a structural fire at an apartment complex required mutual aid. Northfield Fire Chief Floyd Dunnell III said originally an engine for assistance with the fire, but due to aggressive fire fighting measures taking place in the building a ladder was requested and brought to the scene. While the fire was aggressive, only four apartments in the building are out of use. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
