(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Police Department has announced new promotions at their department. The promotions include Lieutenant William Gordon will be appointed Deputy Chief of Police, Acting Lieutenant Daniel McCarthy will be appointed permanent Lieutenant, Sergeant Todd Dodge will be appointed Lieutenant, Acting Sergeant Todd Clark will be appointed permanent Sergeant, Officer Christopher Greene will be appointed Sergeant, Detective Megan Cloutier will be appointed Sergeant, and Acting Sergeant Christopher Rowell will be appointed Sergeant. An outdoor ceremony at the Franklin County Fairgrounds will be conducted to welcome the appointees to their new positions on January 19 at 1pm.

“Please join me in welcoming these fine officers to their new roles, who will continue to serve our community proudly, and help lead the Greenfield Police Department into the future,” said Police Chief Robert Haigh on social media.
