(Greenfield, MA) — The city of Greenfield continues to make headway in its battle against COVID 19. Greenfield Mayor Roxann Wedegartner says the COVID vaccine has been administered to 480 first responders since it became available earlier this year.
“I think we’ve made good progress,” Wedegartner told the city council Wednesday night. “Everyone who gets a vaccine is ahead of the game.”
Wedegartner said the COVID testing center at Greenfield Community College is also quite active, although data on the exact numbers of tests was not revealed. Both operations will be the focus of a tour Thursday involving State Senator Jo Comerford.
