(Greenfield, MA) — Some federal money is on the way to help Greenfield residents become more self-sufficient. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced that the Greenfield Housing Authority has been awarded a $64-thousand dollar grant to help fund an ongoing program providing services which allow people to better survive on their own, thereby decreasing their dependence on government assistance.
