Petition Opposes Solar Arrays At Four Star Farms

A resident on Pine Meadow Road in Northfield has created a petition on Change.org to oppose the building of solar arrays at Four Star Farms. Melissa Gamache created the petition and is concerned about the future scenic views of the agricultural land. The solar project will be discussed at the February 18^th Northfield Planning Board Meeting. A formal public hearing will follow the meeting. Northfield’s Planning Board has already heard from the developers of the solar arrays. Gamache’s petition had 86 signatures as of Sunday evening.
