(Charlemont, MA) Residents in Charlemont continue to wait for a plan to replace the East Oxbow Bridge. The one lane span was included in a replacement plan released by Mass DOT in 2019. The original design has been rejected due to nearby agricultural property restrictions. A February 9^the6:30 PM meeting has been scheduled between Mass DOT and Charlemont representatives to discuss new alternatives to the bridge’s replacement.
