(Bernardston, MA) Selectmen in Bernardston are requesting an amended fire station design from the Bernardston Fire Department for their proposed new firehouse. Selectmen recently heard from firefighters in town, who are requesting expansion of a hallway that would connect the new building to the existing station. The plans for a new station include some improvements to the neighboring old station on Church Street and will include land donated by Bud Foster, who died on January 24th.
