(Boston, MA) The Baker-Polito Administration announced just over $1.2 million in grant funding from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs Land Use Planning Program. The funds will support 26 projects across the commonwealth. The projects range from improving land use practices, conserving land, sustainable development, and even expanding housing choices. The Franklin Regional Council of Governments is receiving $50,000 for a Regional Pollinator Habitat Corridor Action Plan and Pollinator Toolkit. This project will be taking place across Ashfield, Buckland, Colrain, Deerfield, and Shutesbury.
