DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Three citizens petitions were taken up at Deerfield’s Special Town Meeting Wednesday.
Residents voted down the “Specialized Energy Code” which would change regulations for new construction, as well as the Zero Emission Vehicle policy.
The Decarbonization Resolution to eliminate on-site burning of fossil fuels in municipal buildings and vehicles by 2050 was approved by voters.
