(Turners Falls, MA) The Turners Falls Fire Department is encouraging residents to double check electrical cords after an issue with an electrical wall outlet caused an issue at a local address. The department was called to the scene when a television started to smoke, at which time an issue with the electrical wall outlet was discovered.
“We are encouraging residents to please take a look at your electrical cords and make sure you do not overload outlets or power strips,” said the department in a recent Facebook post.
