Update 6:30 pm: Deerfield Police Department Detective Sergeant Adam Sokoloski said a perimeter has been established and while there may be brush fire still burning inside the perimeter, right now the fire is contained. Sokoloski said crews will return to the scene of the fire in the morning, but resources have been released for the day. It is hard to determine the exact extent of the fire at this time, but Sokoloski believes the burned acreage is somewhere between 20-30 acres. There is no threat to any structures at this time.
Update 5:45 PM A representative from Deerfield Police Department said Stillwater Road is now open.
Update: The fire has grown to 30 acres.

(Deerfield, MA) Crews are on scene at a massive brush fire in Deerfield. A representative from Greenfield Fire Department confirmed the fire to span 20 acres or more. Stillwater Road road is closed off and crews continue to battle at the scene.
