(Hatfield, MA) State Senators including Jo Comerford, Senate President Karen Spilka, and farmers who have been impacted by the recent floods gathered in Hatfield Monday afternoon where funding was announced to provide relief to these farmers in central and western Massachusetts. Senate President Spilka announced the new $20 million fund that will be administered by the Executive Office of Administration and Finance and the Department of Agricultural Resources. This follow the Farm Resiliency Fund announced last week by Governor Maura Healey.
