SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont regional schools’ sustainability study has reached a pivotal point. At Thursday’s meeting they discussed five models they will be developing to envision how they would impact the districts’ future: no changes to the district, the two districts merging, moving 6th grade to Mohawk, moving 6th grade and closing at least one elementary school, and a fifth model where all schools combine onto a single Pk-12 campus at Mohawk.
Full details on the models can be found on pages 31 and 32 of the Progress Report from Berk12.
