MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Montague has received $50,000 to jump-start community resilience projects thanks to the Massachusetts Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness program. Three project concepts have been identified; improving the Montague community gardens, developing a commercial kitchen for the community, and a winter window building program.
The town is soliciting input from the public, asking them to rank the potential projects via a survey that is available online and paper copies can be found Senior Center, Public Library, Planning Department located on second floor of Town Hall, Brick House Community Resource Center, and at HeartWing Center (formerly known as Montague Catholic Social Ministries). Please return completed surveys at one of these locations.
