BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Massachusetts Board of Higher Education today approved applications to two higher education institutes, Merrimack College and Suffolk University, to pilot three-year bachelor’s degree programs starting in the fall of 2027.
The programs are part of a variety of ways the state is working to make higher education more affordable, including free community college and expanded Early College programs.
