Water Main Repair In Greenfield To Begin On Phillips Street

(Greenfield, MA) There will be a new water main project in Greenfield starting June 24. A new water main will be installed on Phillips Street, from Conway Street to Elm Street. The work will last throughout the summer and Department of Public Works crews will be on site Monday through Friday 7am-3pm. The project will update an undersized main that was installed in 1929 and service connections will be updated with new shut off valves in the treetbelt.
