BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — As part of Governor Healey’s Energy Affordability Agenda, electric customers will receive a $50 credit on their April electricity bills, adding up to $125 million across the state.
Over the next year the Department of Public Utilities will also establish a first-in-the-nation moderate income discount rate and expand their tiered-income discount rates for lower income customers, in addition to the Healey-Driscoll administration’s efforts to minimize the additional charges on energy bills.
