Basketball Courts And Hoops Closed In Hatfield

(Hatfield, MA) Basketball courts and hoops in the town of Hatfield have been closed after several warnings to residents about COVID-19 safety guidelines

“The town has given multiple warnings, notices, and signs of what the guidelines are and what is expected of all that are using the court,” said Kerry Flaherty, COVID Coordinator for the town of Hatfield in a recent statement.

After the warnings were violated, according to the statement, the hoops were removed for safety purposes.

“The guidelines have not been followed by many different groups of people that have been using the hoops and courts,” said Flaherty.
