GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The 5th street bridge, also known as the Green Bridge, over the power canal connecting Greenfield and Turners Falls will be closed today from 8 a.m. to at least 4 p.m. Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be continuing work on interim repairs that will sustain the bridge until its planned replacement in 2027.
