(Massachusetts) AAA Northeast and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) have partnered to develop peer to peer education on marijuana-impaired driving. AAA Northeast developed a curriculum called Shifting Gears: The Blunt Truth About Marijuana & Driving that addresses the effects if THC on the brain and risks for impaired drivers. So far, it’s been delivered to 60,000 high school students in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. Today at 3 pm SADD will be going live online to educate youth across the country.
