GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — As temperatures rise, so does traffic on the roadways and consequently, the number of fatal crashes involving teen drivers also goes up, according to data from AAA.
AAA Northeast and the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles are warning teens and parents of the dangers of distracted driving, speeding, and not wearing a seatbelt, as well as policies on driving under the influence, including cannabis use.
Additionally, those renting out limousines and other driving services from a Massachusetts for prom and other events should check their licensing through the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities. And verify what their underage drinking policies are.
